Why did my customer's payment get declined?

Payments are generally declined by the customer’s card issuer. Common reasons for declines are typos in the card number and incorrect expiration date or security code. Declines also occur if there are insufficient funds in the customer’s account, the account is over the credit limit, or if there is a block on the account for some reason. The best way to find out why a payment was declined is to have your customer call their bank.
