Your customer will see the information you supplied in the Statement Name and Customer Service Phone Number fields of the merchant application when you activated your account. We actually send your customer's card issuer more than that: your URL, city, geographic location, and postcode. You want to make sure that information is clear to your customers so they recognise the charges on their statement. That's why some businesses choose to use their website rather than their legal business name.
