The Simplify dashboard or application does not display correctly.

After logging into Simplify, some users may experience an issue where the site does not display the dashboard (first screen after login) as expected and is completely missing. Additionally, the main header navigation may display, but clicking the menu options has no effect or does not work as expected.

In these instances, users should reference the checklist below to try to rectify the situation:

 
  • Clear the Browser's Cache. Follow these instructions on how to clear the cache.
  • Check what browser extensions/plugins are installed, try removing them one-by-one and log back into Simplify. A lot of these extensions/plugins affect the user's browsing experience, by modifying webpage's to add extra functionality. However, these changes can have negative effects and break the open webpage's functionality.
  • Check the JavaScript console for errors. If the page does not work as expected, there may be issues with the code used to render the webpage; for example, chrome users can find the JavaScript console and if any statements are displayed in red, it means there are errors. Take a screenshot of the webpage including the related JavaScript console and it's errors and send the information to Simplify.
  • Check your browser version, We support the current and previous major releases of Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Edge, and Safari on a rolling basis.  For Internet Explorer we support version 9 and greater.
